The Next Generation of Wellsite Trailers for the Oil & Gas Industry
We’re really excited to share our most recent project with you – the next generation of wellsite trailer for the oil & gas industry!
This steel-and-skid container provides worksites in harsh climates the rigour required for consistent movement and the sustainability of a steel container – all with an executive touch. It’s built to be moved, incredibly durable, and made to truly feel like a home away from home.
"Working in the field doesn’t mean your staff has to 'rough it,'" says BigSteelBox President Devon Siebenga. "Trailers that were once notorious among oilfield workers for being uncomfortable and generally unpleasant no longer meet the mark for companies that are serious about employee retention. A BigSteelBox Structure is safe, comfortable and constructed to the highest quality standards. All of our structures meet or exceed the guidelines established by the Government of Alberta for re-locatable industrial accommodations of which we are certified."
The interior-design of this modular unit provides a condo feel, complete with air conditioning, stainless steel appliances, computer workstations, flat screen TV and floor to ceiling windows, but with a price-point consistent with industry trends. Units can be constructed starting at $120,000.

Residential Moving & Storage
BigSteelBox makes residential moving and storage simple.
We deliver a BigSteelBox to your home, you pack it at your own pace, then we pick it up and move it to your new home. If you need storage, keep the Box at your place or we'll store it at one of our secure locations.
Benefits of Building with Steel
For mobile structures on remote worksites, building with steel makes sense when compared to wood-frame construction.
BigSteelBoxes are built for ocean shipping and withstanding the elements, so they're much more solid, durable and stackable than trailers.
